Goldsmith and Associates, Inc. (CBG&A) is a full service,
forensic architectural and consulting firm, specializing in the
investigation, evaluation and design of new and existing building
envelope systems, as well as dealing with the technical aspects of
problems in construction. We have a broad scope of expertise related to roofing, painting, waterproofing, and building envelope systems, and although a large percentage of our work relates to the analysis and correction of problems with existing construction, we are still a full service architectural design firm that utilizes it’s knowledge of the building sciences to create innovative design solutions.
We also provide "green roof" consulting services
to ensure that the appropriate sustainability practices are
implemented at the right cost and to assist design teams work through the
LEED* certification
process. This synthesis of traditional and forensic architecture allows CBG&A an opportunity to develop creative solutions that simultaneously considers program, code, and context to provide sensitive and environmentally conscious designs.
